The craziness begins......

So its been a few days since my last blog, but they have gone by fast. I started classes on Monday and that stressed me out. I was up really late Sunday night doing reading for those classes - so waking up was not fun. We had a speaker from Wales that day also, he spoke on the history of the church in Europe. It was cool, but I think all of us were tired from classes. Everyone felt overwhelmed from school and a small group of us went at did homework at hyde park....pretty sure we all fell asleep haha. It has been so hot here too!!! Its like Utah weather plus humidity, but people here are loving it because they never ever get this warm weather. We had another speaker for our fireside that night , he spoke on living through the Blitz, it was really cool, but everyone was stressing because we had so much homework to do that night. Somehow we got it done, and we all went to bad late. This morning classes went a bit better, and I realized that I need to take advantage of being here in this beautiful city and not stress so much about school work. I took a great run in Hyde Park. It is so beautiful there, its such a scenic run. After class today me and some peeps hit the town. We went to WIMBLEDON!!! It was so amazing. It did not feel real being there, the atmosphere was just so fun there. It was a journey getting there, but turned out to be so worth it, of course. We bought a ticket to walk around the grounds. We watched Serena Williams play on the big screen than watched the junior matches on the floor. I could have been there even longer than we were, it was such a once in lifetime experience. We got home pretty late and tomorrow we have a day trip together as a group. I have tons of homework....so I better get started. Here are some pictures from today! Cheers.

Finally touched down in london town!

I am finally here, after months upon months of preparations I made it to London!! The plane ride was sooooo long but it was so worth it. It is so BEAUTIFUL here. It was an adventure making it to 27 Palace Court, but we made it. Our taxi drive was so funny, we talked "futbol" the whole ride and I am pretty sure he almost hit like five people and like two cars. On the first day we unpacked and did a little exploring but we were all so tired! I did not sleep much at all on the planes so I was almost up for two straight days, it was crazy. It is now the end of the second day here, and I realized today just how much there is to see and do in this city. I absolutely love my roommates!!! I am on the fourth floor, side B with Lauren , Laura, Lizzie, and Sarah. All the other girls are great also, oh and the one guy haha. It seems like a really great group. Today we went out to the city all day. We got our tube passes and rode to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace (which I was soooo excited about because I am in love with the movie "The Young Victoria"), than we went to Harrods, which was so so so big. We played around in the toy store there and looked at crazy expensive gowns and shoes. I bought something at a really cute store near Harrods. Than we went to the National Gallary in Trafalgar Square and we saw some Vincent Van Gough pieces, they were beautiful! Than we went and hung out on the square and watched people and looked at the city! Next we walked to Big Ben and met up with a big group for dinner. Finally we walked back to the Center, all exhausted. Tomorrow we have our first day at church in the Hyde Park ward and Monday we start classes. I am really nervous about starting classes, I just hope I can keep up and get some decent grades. So far it was been very fun, and I am sure I will have a lot more to come!!
